Like Water For Vases
It's cardboard-chic. Liquid cardboard, to be specific. This line of eco-friendly, recycled furniture is perfect for environmentalists. If you're hip on sustainable living, you'll be thrilled with cardboardesign. The 'liquid cardboard' name is derived from the pliable, free-flowing movement of the double and triple wall fluted recyclable cardboard, which is then transformed into different shapes, ranging from a vase to candle holders. All products are made in the U.S.A. The company even has an amusing cartoon column.
If you're a parent, why not indulge your kids' imaginations with a portable rocket or teepee? Personally, I'm a fan of the playhouse, though something tells me I could never fit inside it.

O_O" The idea is original (I love the cartoons) But but they are so expensive! Think I will have to stick with IKEA made in China...
ReplyDeleteA little known fact: Sony has been making these playhouses for kids for decades now. I was one of the lucky kids back in the 1980s to actually have one.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, if you upgraded to the "premium model," the box came with a free television :-P
@Noob: Sadly, environmentally-friendly doesn't always coincide with wallet-friendly. I hope this will be improved on in the future.
ReplyDelete@joe: Wow, I had no idea. Take a look at this -- Tokyo-ites getting creative: http://justkool.blogspot.com/2006/10/corrugated-cardboard-house-painting.html
